These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and EdgeRoofBids ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the EdgeRoofBids software-as-a-service platform, including any associated websites, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal authority to enter into this agreement, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to notify us immediately at hello@edgeroofbids.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
You may not create accounts for the purpose of abuse, spamming, or circumventing subscription limits. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Access to EdgeRoofBids requires a paid subscription after the expiration of any applicable free trial period. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you select.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card information. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for all applicable fees.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
We offer a 14-day free trial for new accounts. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service. We are not obligated to provide any notice before the trial expires. No data will be deleted immediately upon trial expiration; however, access to the Service will be restricted until a valid subscription is established.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal within the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods on monthly plans.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or any other reason at our sole discretion, with or without notice.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, after which it may be permanently deleted.
You retain full ownership of all data, estimates, and content you upload or create within the Service ("Your Data"). You grant EdgeRoofBids a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
We do not sell Your Data to third parties. We do not use Your Data to train machine learning models. Your Data is accessible only to members of your company account and to EdgeRoofBids personnel for support and operational purposes.

The Service, including its design, software, features, and content (excluding Your Data), is owned by EdgeRoofBids and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand names.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Estimates generated by the Service are for informational purposes only and should be reviewed by a qualified professional before use.
The Service includes an AI assistant feature ("Roof Guru") powered by Anthropic's Claude API. By using this feature, you acknowledge that:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EdgeRoofBids shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EdgeRoofBids and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Nebraska, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a notice within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
